From a Chaplin film. Cell phone in 1928? Probably a hearing aid or something but really weird none the less.

   There's also a picture of a guy who has modern looking shades, a t-shirt, a sweater, and a portable camera in a 1920's picture. I can't find it at the moment, but it is compelling.
   
   In all honesty, that is probably a coincidence as well..but you never know ;)

   Pretty weird, but how would the cell phone have functioned without cell towers/satellites/etc.? Aliens could be a better reasoning, relaying messages to it's ship maybe?
